Installation of Energy-Saving Light Bulbs for Vulnerable Families in the East Coast GRC

UAESBC ended 2020 with a CSR initiative supporting 400 vulnerable households in East Coast GRC. On 20 December, nine UAESBC volunteers, in collaboration with local Grassroots Organisations (GROs), installed energy-saving light bulbs to help reduce electricity costs. The Council presented a cheque for $10,000 to East Coast GRC, which was matched 1:1 by South East CDC, totalling $20,000 in aid. Each household also received goody bags with gifts and items sponsored by UAESBC members and staff, including dnata, The Cookie Workshop, and Emirates Airlines. This initiative was part of the SG Together movement.
