About the event
UAESBC, together with ENOC, Borouge, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Horizon Terminal, Rotary Engineering, and PEC Ltd, co-organised the Oil, Petrochemical & Logistics (OPL) Seminar on Energy & Infrastructure in Singapore, in support of the UAE Embassy in Singapore.
Held on 17 August 2022 at Suntec City Convention Centre, the seminar gathered over 100 attendees and featured key UAE-linked industry leaders. The event was graced by Singapore’s Minister of State Mr Alvin Tan as Guest of Honour, alongside H.E. Shaikh Saleh Saif Al Sharqi (UAE Embassy) and Patron Mr Lee Yi Shyan. Speakers shared insights on sector trends and the post-pandemic energy landscape, underscoring the strong recovery of UAE–Singapore trade, with petroleum and crude oil remaining vital trade commodities.
