Mr Eddie Wang

Eddie Wang is the Senior Vice President, Commercial Asia South at Borouge International, based in Singapore. He leads the company’s commercial business across Asia Pacific, including the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia and Australasia. He is responsible for regional strategy and growth,
customer partnerships, and commercial and supply chain capabilities.

Eddie joined Borouge Pte Ltd in February 2020 as Senior Vice President, Asia North, leading the company’s business across Greater China, Korea and Japan. He drove growth in priority markets, including mobility and new energy vehicles, while advancing the circular economy agenda and innovation-led development. He also oversaw Borouge’s compounding manufacturing plant in Shanghai, strengthening its ability to deliver differentiated solutions for customers across Asia North. In 2023, he was appointed Senior Vice President, Region Asia South, leading commercial strategy
and growth across the region.

Eddie began his career in finance before moving into the chemical and coatings industry, where he
held several management roles at AkzoNobel, including Business Director for Asia Pacific and North
America.

Eddie holds a Bachelor of Science Major in Polymer Chemistry from Fudan University in China, and a Master of Business Administration from the Boston University in the United States.
