His mission: to make quality, values-based education accessible to communities worldwide.

Mr. Temurnikar is a strong advocate for innovation in education. He has contributed to education reform policies in India and Malaysia, proposed curriculum enhancements for expat communities, and championed national integration efforts through Singapore’s National Integration Council. His thought leadership in areas like sustainability in education, virtual schooling, and agile educational models is widely respected.

Under his leadership, GSG manages 12 international schools including Global Indian International School (GIIS) in Singapore — the first CBSE school of its kind in the city-state. Beyond GIIS, Mr. Temurnikar spearheaded the expansion of the GSG network to include prestigious institutions such as One World International School, Dwight School Seoul (Korea’s first fully authorised IB Continuum school), Heath House UK, Glendale International (UAE & India), Emirates International School, and schools across Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines. These schools offer diverse curricula — British, American, IB, ICSE, CBSE — and emphasise holistic, values-driven education.

Recognised globally, Mr. Temurnikar has received numerous accolades including:
• Pravasi Bharatiya Samman Award (2025) – India’s highest honour for overseas citizens

• Distinguished Fellow, Institute of Directors, India

As Chairman of Global Schools Foundation (GSF) and Global Indian Foundation (GIF) as well, Mr. Temurnikar
continues to lead with a focus on academic excellence, character development, and innovation. He believes that education should transcend socio-economic barriers — and through GSG, he ensures it does.

A qualified engineer from VNIT Nagpur and an MBA from the University of East London, Mr. Temurnikar transitioned into education after a successful corporate career with IBM and HCL, where he led digital transformation across Southeast Asia.

His legacy is defined by impact — nurturing future-ready global citizens, bridging communities through education, and redefining what world-class schooling can be.
