The UAESBC EXCO Members had our very first EXCO meeting of 2020 today. Also in attendance at the meeting were 2 very special VIP Guests: our Patron the UAE Ambassador to Singapore, His Excellency Dr Mohamed Omar Balfaqeeh and the newly appointed Singapore Ambassador-Designate to the UAE, His Excellency Ambassador Kamal Vaswani.
H. E. Ambassador Vaswani had a chance to get to know each of our EXCO members briefly at the meeting when each EXCO representative shared their company’s background and outreach across the two regions, i.e. East Asia and MENA. At a private meeting with UAEBSC President Dr Brian Shegar earlier this week, H. E. Ambassador Vaswani was given a personal introduction to the UAEBC and how the Council members, along with our Strategic Partners, has developed and continued to improve on a business eco-system that promotes business and trade relations between the UAE and Singapore. H. E. Ambassador Vaswani shared that his door is always open to Council members and is happy to be a facilitator for business relations and opportunities between the UAE and Singapore.
