The UAESBC and Abu Dhabi Ports are co-organising a webinar to promote the Khalifa Industrial Zone (KIZAD), Abu Dhabi's first Integrated Trade, Logistics and Industrial Hub. It is a multibillion-dollar industrial park and ports operation on a greenfield site in Taweelah (adjacent to the newly built Khalifa Port), the emirate's first industrial free zone offering 100 per cent foreign ownership. By 2030, Kizad is expected to contribute up to 15% of the emirate's non-oil GDP.

SYNOPSIS
The UAE is Singapore’s largest trading partner in the Middle East with bilateral trade approximating S$20 Billion in 2019. The Singapore UAE Comprehensive Partnership signed in 2019, one of the numerous agreements between the two countries to enhance 2-way flows, specifically mentioned the UAE Singapore Business Council as a platform for promoting B2B connectivity.
At 410km2, Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), Abu Dhabi’s premier industrial and commercial zone is two thirds the size of Singapore, and adjacent to Khalifa Port both of which are key nodes in China’s Belt Road Initiative (BRI), and one of the most efficient, and cost effective destinations for business investment.
The webinar will highlight the opportunities available to Singaporean companies to establish in KIZAD and leverage its world class multi-modal transportation infrastructure connecting to 4.5 billion consumers.
