Synopsis:

The UAE Singapore Business Council (UAESBC) and the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE) are co-organising a workshop entitled "UAE Market Insights: Opportunities in Cleantech and Fintech" especially to inform Singapore tech companies on the opportunities in growing sectors in the UAE startup ecosystem. This workshop is a prelude to a joint business delegation to the UAE planned for November this year.

The UAE is shaping up to become a strong regional leader in technology and innovation, with a vision to nurture 8,000 SMEs and startups by 2030 to create 20 unicorns. The cleantech and fintech sectors are among the most promising and lucrative areas for startups to explore and expand in the UAE.

To help you tap into this potential, we invite you to join us online or in-person on 15 August 2023 for an exclusive session on "UAE Market Insights: Opportunities in Cleantech and Fintech". This event is co-organized by ACE.SG and the UAE Singapore Business Council.

You will hear from experts and industry leaders on the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the UAE's cleantech and fintech sectors. You will also get to network with other like-minded entrepreneurs and potential partners who are interested in exploring the UAE market.

The UAE government has launched several initiatives to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the fintech sector, such as the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), a financial centre that hosts global corporations, fintechs, VCs, and other financial players. The UAE is also a regional hub for trade and commerce, with a strategic location that connects Asia, Africa, and Europe.

With the UAE hosting COP28 in 2023, Hub71, Abu Dhabi's tech ecosystem, is developing capability to drive investments in green infrastructure and clean energy globally. Masdar City is a special economic zone designed to be a business hub and a destination for cleantech companies.
