The UAE Singapore Business Council will be organising our Annual General Meeting for 2021 on Wednesday, 28th April, 2.30pm. As a Council established under the Singapore Registry of Societies of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the UAESBC is required to conduct an AGM attended by a quorum of members. At the AGM, the current President and Sub-Committee Chairs will present their respective reports of activities done in 2020. These will be compiled in the 2020 Annual Report which will be published and posted to all Members after the AGM. In addition, the incoming Office Bearers and EXCO members along with the Chairs and Heads of the Sub-Comm will also be proposed and elected at the AGM.
This year we will organise the AGM in a hybrid format hosting a strictly limited number of members physically in a social distancing layout. The remaining number of members can attend online via Zoom. The online platform will allow members who are not based in Singapore to attend and participate in the AGM. This was the same format conducted at last year's AGM where we were one of the first organisations in Singapore to conduct an AGM in the hybrid format on 26 March right before Singapore went to Phase 1 of the COVID19 lockdown.
The agenda of the AGM will be emailed out to all members within 7 working days of the AGM along with details of the venue/online registration link. In order for you to receive emails from UAESBC please ensure that contactus@uaesbc.com email address is not blocked as spam.
