BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES in the UAE in the Post COVID19 Era, 31 March

Updated: 5 days ago

The UAE is the most diversified economy in the GCC being only 30% dependent on oil and gas. The UAE is also Singapore’s largest trading partner in the Middle East with bilateral trade approximating SGD20 Billion in 2019 and investment flows into Singapore to date of around SGD8 Billion. Hence, the Singapore UAE Comprehensive Partnership was signed in 2019 during the visit of His Royal Highness Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to further enhance trade and investment flows. This is also within the context of an overall GCC-Singapore FTA that was signed in 2013.

This webinar themed “Business Opportunities in the UAE in the Post Covid19 Era” brings together 3 significant business communities in Singapore. The UAE Singapore Business Council was established in 2018 as the platform for UAE and Singapore companies to connect and explore trade and investment opportunities. The Singapore Indian and Malay Chambers of Commerce constitute two important segments of Singapore’s commercial arena with members from wide-ranging sectors and expertise. Having successfully undertaken a similar event with the Singapore Chinese Chamber, it would be important now to include these two chambers and achieve economies of scale by combining members of the two chambers.

In addition to speakers appearing LIVE from the UAE representing reputable organisations/agencies, this webinar will also include an exclusive presentation on the SG Pavilion at the World EXPO2020 in Dubai commencing in October this year. With these presentations, Singapore companies can learn about the opportunities that awaits them in Dubai or Abu Dhabi and also benefit from the facilities and services provided at the award-winning pavilion. Details of this webinar are as follows:
